About Us

Stefanie Dazio is a junior at American University studying print journalism and CLEG (communications, legal institutions, economics and government). She currently interns at The Washington Post, writing feature stories for the Local section – including a piece displayed on the Sunday B1 splash. She will intern at The Newark Star-Ledger beginning in May, returning as a summer Metro reporter for the second year. Emily Roseman is a senior in the School of Communication graduating this May with a degree in broadcast journalism and minor in international studies. She specializes in editing video and multimedia journalism. Her work has taken her from New York to London. Past experiences include interning for BBC world news in Washington, working as a digital editor for MSNBC in New York, interning in the executive office of the White House under President Barack Obama, working as a production assistant for purple flame media in London, and most recently being selected as a Dean’s  Intern to work in the video department of USA Today. Carol Cummings is a senior in the School of Communication graduating this May with a degree in print journalism and a minor in Italian. She is a self-proclaimed Italophile who loves writing. She’s interned at Street Sense Newspaper in Washington, and currently interns at the Order Sons of Italy in America where she writes a biweekly blog on Italian-Americans.

Amanda Muscavage is a junior in the School of Communication at American University. She is majoring in Print Journalism and minoring in Information Systems and Technology and Literature.  She currently interns with the USA Today Investigative News team and has previously interned with the Washington Examiner.
